How to sustain "your yoga practice" through lockdown (even though you don't have to) and through life too.

First up - practice is not something you “should” do. There are too many shoulds in life anyway. Don’t think you need a full practice everyday - even a few breaths in full presence counts as practice. Often when we head to practice for a few moments, this can lengthen out into the most glorious of practices. You absolutely do not need to get on your mat with the intention of 60 or 90 minutes….. maybe try the same number of seconds and see how you go.

Careful who you practice with - go to the people who you really connect with the teachings of - not just anybody because they were teaching at that time. If you keep practicing with those that REALLY inspire - you’ll not get bored so fast and look forward to your time on the mat. Be as picky with your yoga guide as you would be inviting friends over for dinner - would that be possible right now. You need to enjoying hanging out with them for a little time - who are you inviting into your day?

If you want guidance and your preferred people aren’t hosting a practice check out their websites/YouTube/ig for mini practices with them.

Practice as an act of love above anything else and see how that shifts what you do.

With ease xxx
