5 mistakes I made as a yoga sharer with what I offered in restful practices

We all evolve as yoga sharers over time… Here is my “starter for 5” things that I do less of these days…

Not giving folk enough time to settle

Not encouraging peoples own agency within the practice.

Planning too many different asana in one practice

Not sharing the more complex asana/prop situations before starting so that folk are able to refind them when “resting in the primordial soup” rather than it being the first time they create that form.

Not giving folk enough time to “come around at the end”. Is there ever enough?

And the list goes on and remains open to newness landing on it …… there will undoubtedly be more changes and shifts in what I share.

It’s a beautiful thing to notice how my own practice really informs my sharing onwards. The evolution of it all and as @rose.x.rose.x.rose (if you don’t know Rose yet then get to know)) said yesterday it’s the unlearnings that really count.

Want to dive into sharing rest - I have immersions happening this year in Bristol - at Now Studio and London At Samya Studios as well as an online Yoga Nidra course - head to menu and check out the trainings tab for more info.
