you don’t need a mentor, you want a mentor.

These words were shared with me recently - and blooming heck they got every part of me saying YES. A mentor is here to use the learnings from their experience, their missteps, their networks to help smooth the path you are treading.

Because yes, we can do most things ourselves (as a fiercely independent eldest daughter of an alcoholic this is my standard response) but to work with somebody along side us can decrease the effort taken, find an easier track to walk and offer some company and maybe even some joy and laughter along the way.

A big hell yes to the mentoring process and love to my mentors.
